The Cinema Asia Foundation processes your personal data by using our services and/or by providing them to us. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:

– First and last name – Gender
– Date of birth
– Place of birth
– Address details
– Phone number
– E-mail address
– Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by creating a profile on this website, in correspondence and by telephone
– Information about your activities on our website

2. Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

Our website(s) and/or service has no intention of collecting information about website visitors under the age of 16. Unless they have permission from parents or guardian. However, we cannot verify that a visitor is over 16 years of age. We therefore encourage parents to be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal information about a minor without that consent, please contact us at kin@cinemasia.nl and we will delete that information.

3. For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?

The foundation processes your personal data for the following purposes:

Handling your payment
Sending our newsletter and/or advertising brochure
Be able to call or email you if necessary to perform our services
Give you the opportunity to create an account

4. Automated decision-making

Foundations do not take decisions on the basis of automated processing operations on matters that could have (significant) consequences for individuals. These decisions are taken by computer programs or systems, without a person (for example an employee of Stichting Cinema Asia) in between. Information about our computer programs or systems can be obtained from the Data Protection Officer.

5. How long we store personal data

The Cinema Asia Foundation will not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. The retention period can be requested from the Data Protection Officer.

6. Sharing personal data with third parties

The foundations provide only to third parties and only if necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

Stichting Cinema Asia only uses technical functional cookies and analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and remember, for example, your preferred settings. You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. The foundation takes the protection of your data seriously and take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised alteration.
