Dani Huda (Bandung, Indonesia, 1995) became involved in the creative industry at a young age. First as a fashion photographer, working both nationally and internationally. Since 2014, in addition to being a photographer, he has worked as Director & Producer for fashion films, music videos, advertisements and branded content. He won PIALA MAYA AWARDS 2022 for Best Music Video: Director ‘Isyana Sarasvati featuring DeadSquad – IL SOGNO.’

Across the arts, Dani’s work speaks about and is interested in the spiritual & natural world, repetition and mystical elements. After initiating Jendela Papua in 2019, the first ever Indonesian talent lab that resulted in a feature-length film, Dani collaborated with the lab’s graduate, Theo Rumansara, to produce his first film, ORPA (Jaff-NETPAC 2022 Indonesian Screen Awards – Best Performance), the only feature film so far that brings up social issues in Papua and directed by a native Papuan. The latest short film that he produced, “Memori Dia”, screened across Europe, Middle East and Asia.

Recently, Dani was selected to join Apichatpong Weerasethakul Lab: Filming in the Amazon (2022). Founder of QUN films, he believes in fulfilling the needs of well-crafted, quality content, with strong local values that resonate with global audiences, to inspire a new generation of storytellers.
