MUBI x Cinéart: Decision to Leave

Sunday 12 March 14:00, Studio/K

From a mountain peak in South Korea, a man plummets to his death. Was it suicide, or something more insidious? When detective Hae-joon arrives on the scene, he begins to suspect the deceased’s wife Seo-rae. As he digs deeper into the investigation, he finds himself trapped in a web of deception and desire.

PARK Chan-wook, one of South Korea’s master filmmakers, has a wide-ranging career that has spawned instant classics, from the revenge thriller Oldboy (2003) to the sensational queer drama The Handmaiden (2016). With Decision to Leave, Park probes the depths of human nature with his intriguing blend of romance and mystery, featuring an alluring performance by Chinese star TANG Wei front and centre.

CinemAsia is excited to partner with MUBI and Cinéart to present Decision to Leave, which is available for streaming on MUBI in the Netherlands starting on March 18.
