In the mountains of Darjeeling, 9-year-old Guras goes to school and lives a relatively peaceful life. Her innocent world, however, starts to break when her beloved dog Tinkle goes missing. In the meantime, her parents are confronted with the pressure on the family’s livelihood due to falling cardamom prices. Amidst such uncertainty, Guras embarks on a search for her dog that takes her to mystical places and encounters with unworldly beings.

Director Saurav RAI’s second feature film continues his focus on his hometown Darjeeling. His work is a poetic blend of the spiritual and the real, immersing you in a world where the forces of reality are layered with a sense of mystery.

Guras takes the audience on a journey through scenic landscapes, where mystical visions and sounds tell a story of growth, loss, and a young girl’s world on the cusp of change.
